The Barbara Sproull Professional

Development Scholarship of the Aiken County (SC)
Council of Teachers of Mathematics provides financial assistance of up to
$200 annually to pursue professional development in mathematics. The
professional development may include workshops, conferences, or
graduate courses with an emphasis on mathematics. The funding for this
grant may be used for registration, room and board, and/or transportation
expenses for PD.
Requirements for Eligibility:
To be eligible for this award, an educator must:
Be a current member of ACCTM;
Be committed to teaching mathematics in Aiken County;
Attach the following to the application:
A short explanation of why the applicant wishes to attend the PD experience
and how it will benefit the applicant (with applicants signature);
A description of the PD experience and an itemized budget with specific costs
and total amount requested (include a copy of the program announcement).
