1 (a) Keeping Franchise restaurant in mind for compensation it can be safely assumed that the

organization has almost a flat structure so, a flat compensation strategy could work in the given

circumstances. The reward system for two categories of personnel can be induced, it can be seen

that the pizza makers and the riders are the main workforce for Boston Pizza, the compensation

for pizza makers can denote quality and complaints and the compensation basis for riders can be

timely deliveries. Both of these systems can work out quite well in the given scenario. It can be

seen that the potential reasoning is motivation in both cases.

1 (b) There are a lot of managerial strategies in the given context and it fits the scenario as per

the requirements of the potential user. The variables can be addition to the staff and this variable,

no matter how much it variates is an efficient measure and can keep the potential constant. It can

be seen in an overall perspective that regular compensation is another variable that is not effected

by the rewards system. This can lead to a proper functioning of the staff available both at the

point of sale and the destination of choice.

1 (c) Technology and control systems are the two mechanism that do not effect this

compensation mechanism. Technology in a sense that it updates the organization, but does not let

the organization go to ruins. It can further be seen that the second variable of control system is

also uninfluenced by the level of motivation of the workforce. It is therefore evident that the

direction of this kind of relationship is null and therefore it can be highlighted that the functional

correspondence between these variables is virtually negligible and thus determines the variable

unaffected.

1 (d) There is a little or no overlapping in the mechanisms of the compensation as determined by

the figures. The only parts which overlap are the compensation plan and its effect on the design

and implementation of hierarchal data. The more the impact in these areas of organization the

more fruitful would be its results on the overall world. It can therefore be signified that the

overlapping part in the figures is minimal, as these elements that overlap each other impact the

distribution in a manner that is hardly noticed. However, compensation system is the key note

here. It does overlap with all of the preceding variables.
