Dear Parent or Guardian,

I want to welcome you and your student to the 2016-2017 Johns elementary school year! My
name is Laura Garcia, and I am a first year of the Ready,Set,Teach internship program at Sam
Houston High School. I will be joining in to your 6th graders science class and teaching
alongside with Mrs.John to gain experience to help with my goal of becoming a teacher. I will be
assisting them with any confusion they will have, and teaching them new material as well.
