Revocable Consent Position

Skills: Proficiency in ArcGIS, ability to accurately read plans, familiarity in


Database Software, review legal agreements & work independently. Some field work
may be required.

Project: DOT Cityscape & Franchises is seeking an intern for the Summer 2017 Ses
sion with the possibility of extending the internship into the Fall 2017 Semeste
r. The intern will document legal structures in the Public Right-of-Way ; review
technical drawings and legal agreements to record information into a GIS and tr
aditional database under direction of the unit s GIS Project Manager.

Duties: The intern shall review distributed revocable consent agreements and dra
wings to reconcile existing databases and create a new geospatial dataset. The i
ntern will also be responsible for recording any and all procedures developed to
ensure data quality can be maintained over time.

Land Use Position

Skills: Proficiency in ArcGIS, ability to accurately read plans, familiarity in


Database Software, aptitude in graphic software. Candidate must also be able to
conduct field work within any of the five boroughs.

Project: DOT Cityscape & Franchises is seeking a current undergraduate or gradua


te student to intern for the Spring 2017 Semester, Summer 2017 Session and Fall
2017 Semester. The intern shall primarily be responsible for assisting in develo
ping an inventory of spaces under elevated structures which will aid Land Use pl
anning. The database will be based in ArcGIS and ArcGIS online, with data collec
ted in the field utilizing ESRI collector.

Duties: The intern shall perform all necessary tasks to complete the inventory i
ncluding entering data and preparing maps in ArcGIS as well as site research, su
rvey and assessment, utilizing ESRI collector. The intern will also be responsib
le for recording any and all procedures developed to ensure data quality can be
maintained over time.
