Re: Recommendation of Sophia Best

To all concerned,
I write this to urge you to seriously consider Ms. Sophia Best for admission to your
institution. Over my twenty five year in the film industry, I have had the opportunity to
work with many young people who have, or merely think they have an interest in a
career in film. Among them, Sophia stands out with her knowledge and love of film.
More impressive though is her eagerness to learn, as demonstrated by her willingness
to shadow various film professionals in her scant free time.

Sophia, along with her equally talented twin sister, has been making movies since
the age of eight. She has developed a keen ability to tell stories with image and sound,
and in that time, has come to genuinely love doing so. Sophia's voice is becoming more
defined with each new project, and I am excited to see where her ever-increasing talent
for this medium will take her.

Beyond Sophia's passion for filmmaking however, is her honest work ethic. Throughout
her high school years, Sophia has remained steadily focused on learning, and striving to
excel, earning stellar grades and accolades in the process. This is a young woman who
is confident both in who she is, and in what she wants to accomplish. I'm quite certain
that Sophia will bring much to the learning institution fortunate enough to claim her. I
recommend Sophia unreservedly, and emphatically.
