This is an area of strength for Kristen. Her lesson are consistently well-developed with consideration for all lesson
components including differentiation of instruction. Her lesson planning provides a firm foundation for high-quality
instruction.

I have observed Kristen using a variety of instructional strategies during my three teaching observations. I was
especially impressed with the time spent on student use of technology for learning.

Kristen is making adequate progress for a student teacher in the area of student assessment. She is learning how to
best assess students to gain quality feedback. She is also learning how to best use that data to guide her instructional
decision-making.

Kristen's classroom management vacillates in regards to the learning activity and type of instruction, whether whole-
group or small-group. Students were engaged in learning during my observations, yet she often had difficulty controlling
student talking and movement. She should continue to seek and implement best-practices for classroom management.
She is a very caring teacher who has built positive relationships with students.
