Early Christianity arrived in the first century AD, and placed an emphasis on

the afterlife, with a god who (unlike all the other false gods) loves all of
humanity unconditionally.

early days of the church.
My teacher likes to cast aspersions on the apostles and the gospels that they
wrote.
Women and poorer elements of society were some of the major
demographics that made up the majority of the Christian faith in its early
days.
In 50AD, the first books of the new testament were written. In 64 AD the
great fire of Rome occurs, and in 65AD Paul was martyred.
Fromm 66-70 AD the great Jewish revolt occurred, leading to the massacre of
the rebels at Jerusalem (marks the separation of Judaism and Christianity).
In 140 AD, the last books of the new testament were written.
Christianity spread across the Roman empire through the various trade
routes, and hubs of commerce in the empire and beyond.
Until Constantine recognized Christianity when he became emperor, the
Christians were persecuted by the Roman Empire across the empire brutally.
The early church included Jews, and non-Jewish converts, and had an
emphasis on private worship. The religion was apocalyptic (referring to the
return of Jesus and the resurrection), and had apostolic succession (through
the bishops).
The emperor Decius (249-251) made the persecution of Christianity an
imperial policy, and this remained until Constantine.
