Semester Reflection: Drama 1

1. How was the Hard Candy Play? What could have gone better?
The show pulled together quite well. I think everyone did a great job
overall. The characters were believable, and the audience seemed to
have almost no problems following the storyline. (eg. We did a good
job conveying it.) There were some mishaps with the set and lighting,
mainly involving the door. Taking all the small flaws into consideration,
Id still say that we moved the show along very nicely.
2. It surprised me how good I felt after we finished the play! There is no
doubt that a ton of stress was caused for me in trying to memorize my
lines and worrying about other people. But when the final performance
came, I felt the most confident and proud that I ever have. I did not
expect that, it was a pleasant surprise. I learned more about myself
and my potential, especially when it comes to performing on stage.
