Re.: Farhad Hamidi (D.O.B. September 5, 2000)

Please accept this referral for the individual named above for psychiatric
assessment. With this referral, there is a Signed Consent form to release the
following clients information. The client, Mr. Hamidi has been frequently visiting me
for scheduled counselling for one year.

Farhad Hamidi is a 17 year old who was sent to our agency for therapy towards his
threatening paranoid behavior. With this classified behaviour, Mr. Hamidi is
influenced to isolate himself from the rest of society, and portrays a negative
response when he is exposed to the outside world. While there were a few positive
progresses made during our therapy sessions, there are still a majority of issues
that have been proved disconcerting and out of my personal reach for therapy.

Mr. Hamidis paranoid issue is the belief that the government is in complete control
of the minds and lives of civilians. He has neglected the use of any form of
technology in his home, such as, phones, computers, television, or internet, and
chooses not to attend school or work. At times when he does go outside, out of fear,
Mr. Hamidi wraps his head in aluminum foil to create what he calls an
electromagnetic field, that supposedly stops radio waves sent from the
government, and prevents total mind control. When Mr. Hamidi is confronted by an
individual of society and told that his belief is unrealistic, he immediately responds
in anger and physical violence, and describes this act as defending himself from
people who are already under the control of the government.

Given that this client still has many unresolved issues, we aim that you accept him
for a full psychological assessment to diminish his fear and assist me in providing a
better method of counselling.
