student, enrolled in our baccalaureate program.
As the simulation coordinator I facilitate simulations for our three (3) medical-surgical nursing
courses. She was also in my clinical group two (2) semesters. Clinically, Rachel has
demonstrated well-developed clinical decision-making, communication and team leading
abilities. Through simulation activities as well as in hospital clinical rotations, she has
demonstrated superb verbal communication and delegation abilities. Her hands on nursing skills
are excellent and her ease with handling patient and/or family communication issues is
commendable.
Rachel is humble and rarely complains, demonstrating amazing work ethic. She is highly
trustworthy and diligent in all endeavors.
In addition to being a naturally compassionate and caring person, Rachels work ethic,
demonstrated leadership abilities and academic success make her a superb candidate for any
nursing position. I strongly believe that she will make lasting contributions to any organization
she is involved with.
