The picture below indicates the directions the Ternary Cursor can be moved
in order to access a desired composition.
Note: It is also possible to manually enter the compositions of the Ternary Cursor
directly into cells E3 and F3. Note that cell G3 has the formula "=1.0-E3+F3".
Hence, only E3 and F3 must be entered.

The Plot Style Group supports all user actions that relate to the Ternary
Cursor and curves generated at its actual location.

The Chart above shows the tielines at the location of the Ternary Cursor
at 100 kPa (green) and at 500 kPa (red). The change in slope is obvious
and well documented through color and legend.
The Residue Curve Group supports all user actions that relate to Point
Residue Curves. The term Point Residue Curves relates to residue curves
that are initialized by means of the Ternary Cursor. This distinction helps
to tell it from the curve mechanism by means of the grid function.

The Point Flash Group supports all user actions that relate to Point
Flashes. The term Point Flashes relates to flashes that are initialized by
means of the Ternary Cursor. This distinction helps to tell it from any
other flashes called automatically by means of the various functions.

The Ternary Cursor Management Group supports all user actions that relate
to managing the Ternary Cursor. The Ternary Cursor can be hidden and
shown on the diagram.
