is closed with a metal snap on the inside of the flap which corresponds
to the matching snap on the front of the purse. When closed, the front
flap covers the top halfofthe purse. The flap is cut at a slight angle,
the lowest part is left centre and angles upwards to the top of centre
right. The flap is smooth and shiny as is the back of the purse. The
bottom front halfis gathered to provide texture. The top halfofthe
purse is smooth and shiny. The inside of the purse is lined and has no
pocket. The makers mark is stamped on the back inside of the purse
(see markings for details).
