Persons 1.SUBTASK 72-50-53-350-203 Remove the Damage or Wear and all the Coat from Ferrule Outer Diameter. Refer to Figure 1. Refer to SPM TASK 70-33-78-300- 503. 2. Grind to remove the damage or wear and all of the coat. Refer to SPM TASK 70-34-03-340-501. 3. SUBTASK 72-50-53-350-204 Prepare the Ferrule for Coating A. Refer to Figure 1. Clean the part. Refer to SPM TASK 70-11- 03-300-503. B. Do a fluorescent penetrant inspection of the part. Refer to SPM TASK 70-23-01-230-501 or SPM TASK 70-23-02-230-501. C. Do a dimensional inspection of the repair area. 4. Prepare the part for plasma coat. Refer to SPM TASK 70-34-03- 340-501. A. Mask areas which are not to be coated B. Grit blast the repair area. Grit blast out of repair area is not permitted. C. Apply Plasma Coat to the Ferrule Outer Diameter . SUBTASK 72-50-53-340-062. Use CoMat 03-066 METAL SPRAYING POWDER. Refer to Figure 1. D. Grind the Coated Area. SUBTASK 72-50-53-320-169. Refer to Figure 1. Refer to TASK 70-34-03-340-501. Final coating thickness must be 0.003 to 0.005 in. (0.008 to 0.013 mm).
