1. PURPOSE
To provide procedure for developing Engineering Order or Engineering Order
Change Notice for Repair or Alteration Design of Aircraft Structure, Avionic
Equipment Installation, Interior and Exterior.

3.1. Alteration Design Data that comply with the Type Certification basis and

amendments to those airworthiness standard or special

condition. DGCA finds necessary to establish e level of

safety equal to that established by the type certification

basis incorporated by reference in type certificate or
supplemental type certificate, as reference to alter that TC
product as it is considered to be minor design changes.
3.2. Approved Data Information contained in Authoritative documents, such as
TC and STC, including equivalent foreign documents, which
have been validated by DGCA where the data can be used
to substantiate major repairs/major alterations.

3.3. CVE Compliance Verification Engineer

3.4. EDM Engineering Data Management and Configuration function
in ACS-PTDI
3.5. EO Engineering Order, a written order issued by DOA ACS to
production/operator/customer in performing specific Repair
or Alteration.
3.6. EOCN Engineering Order Change Notice, a written order issued by
DOA ACS to production/operator/customer in performing
significant modification/improvement in related with DOA
ACS Engineering Order. Significant modification mean any
modification of the EO content, but not for any mistype or
administrative work.

6. PROCEDURES
Engineering Order and Engineering Order Change Notice shall be accordance with
the following procedure :
6.1. Design Engineer prepares Engineering Order based on design data using
Form AS-DO-F405-01 (Engineering Order) or Form AS-DO-F405-02
(Engineering Order Change Notice).
6.2. Compliance Verification Engineer (CVE) verifies Engineering Order or
Engineering Order Change Notice.
6.3. Airworthiness Office verifies and approves Engineering Order or Engineering
Order Change Notice.
6.4. Airworthiness Office submits Engineering Order or Engineering Order Change
Notice to EDM for reproduction and distribution.
