be a contract).
Set this up with the Rozsa too. Have ticket sales start the Monday after
we get back from winter break.
Find an MC for the show. E-board usually handles plane tickets and
hotels for them, but double check that they'll do it again this year. If not,
try to get them a room at the Magnuson and coordinate their flight with
them (they could fly in to Hancock or Marquette).
In years past, Queens has found merchant sponsors. This year,
Funding took it over. If they do it again, tell them you will contact
Sleeman's and Celebrations.
Reserve a room for the preliminary interviews. Last year we used the
Datolite Room in the MUB and it worked well. You can reserve rooms
online on the Student Activities webpage.
Call Sleeman's and Celebrations and ask if they'd be willing to be
merchant sponsors again. If they say yes, ask them about the donated
flowers and tuxes that they've done in years past.
Contact Jeremiah Bauman of Creative Suites for this. They usually do it
for $50. The dates for pictures are further down the list.
The forms should be automatically set to open at 8am on that day, but
double check with e-board the week before to make sure.
Start finding judges (and hopefully have them confirmed by
Thanksgiving break). Five judges would be ideal (for tie-breakers), but
last year we had four and it worked out fine.
Contact Amber Toboyek about being the co-MC for the coronation. If
she can't do it, contact Liesl Flannery, then Cat Saraza, and just keep
going down the list from first to last place. I don't think it will go any
farther than Liesl, though, because she will still be a student next spring
semester,
Contact Dining Services about this. They should have an idea of what
we've ordered in the past. As you find judges ask them their preferences
(meat, vegetarian, nut-free, etc.).
Contact Air Force and Army ROTC about providing ushers. You might
have to do some asking around to find out who is in charge (it will be
different than this semester).
Try to have the eight merchant sponsors confirmed by today.

corsages. Last year they wrote down the wrong date and we almost
didn't get them in time.
