System1200 TPS Setup with Known Azimuth

This guide displays how to perform a System1200 TPS setup with known azimuth.

Step Instruction Screenshots

From the main menu select the survey

option.

With the job name highlighted press

enter on the keyboard.

Select NEW (F2) and fill in job

3 details then select STORE (F1) and
then CONT (F1).

Fill in the relevant information on

4 the Survey Begin screen then select
SETUP (F3).

Method: Set Azimuth

Station Coord: From Job

Station ID: highlight the line, press
Enter then F2 to key in a new station

Key in the name of the station and its

6 coordinates.
F1 STORE

Fill in the Instrument Ht and set the

Fixpoint job to the job you are in

F1 CONT

Fill in the Backsight ID then input

the desired Azimuth (if zero, select

F4). Now select SET (F1) to set the
station and orientation.

You are now in the survey program
