ECD 243: End of Day Reflective Analysis

Schedule and Planning Teacher-Child Interactions

My partner and I followed the first day of the schedule Mrs. Robin gave my partner and I space and leisure. She
promptly and followed the visual schedule provided. Intervened when she felt necessary. Example: when she

used to retell stories on the flannel board.

Teamwork Successes and Revelations, Questions and

Kelly and I showed team work when we took pictures and
videos for each other during activities and readings. Any
time throughout the day that we had a question, we asked
each other before consulting another person and problem
solved on our own. We worked together to set up the
classroom appropriately. We agreed on the placement of
materials, activities, and books. During the day, we
supported each other when mistakes were made and
redirected or transitioned the children as needed. When we
used the bathroom, we would respectfully let each other
know that the other person was leaving the room.
Confusions
One of the things Im most thankful for was being prepared.
Innocently, I ordered a book from Amazon that was sent to
me written using the wrong language. Seeing how I cant
read or speak French, I needed a back-up story and fast.
Before the language of my story time plan was discovered,
I placed another book with props close-by, assuming It
would eventually come handy this week. I needed the book
sooner than I thought but I am thankful I was prepared.
Thats something professionals can take pride In. Being
prepared often brings success. I have no questions or
confusions during this time.

The plan was forced to change due to the book problem. Im excited for my next small group activity. Judging from
