Philosophy of Teaching Reflection

My philosophy on teaching hasnt really changed. I believe that there are numerous
ways that students learn and need to be assessed. I believe that it is up to the
teacher to find the best method of doing that as well. Im thankful for my student
teaching experience because it has only reinforced my previous statements on
teaching. I know that students are there to receive a quality education however I
have seen many students with difficult home lives. There were some who could
cause a lot of chaos but at the end of the day I just wanted to hug them and tell
them that everything was going to be okay. I told them to have a good day and that
I would see them tomorrow. I quickly learned that I was the only stability in their
lives other than their real teacher. I knew how important it was for me to not let
them down and be there for them even if they exhibited bad behavior. I know that I
could make a huge difference in their lives by caring about them. I just wish they
knew what a difference they made in my life.
