NEEDLE EXCHANGE PROGRAM

Johnstown, Pennsylvania, The Johnstown Free Medical Clinic

will be offering a Needle Exchange Program starting immediately. This will allow
individuals that suffer from IV drug abuse to receive clean needles free of charge.
We strongly value confidentiality, therefore; we will not require any personal
identification to participate in the program. Our physicians believe that this is a
crucial step in preventing communicable diseases.

We are excited to open this program to the public. Our mission is

to provide quality care to those in need. We understand that the
battle with addiction can be tough on a person; dont walk alone. Let

The Johnstown Free Medical Clinic is a legacy of its founder, Dr. George Katter.
During the Johnstown Flood of 1977, he ran a medical clinic at a former elementary
school to treat flood victims. The JFMC honors his legacy by providing our patients
with competent, compassionate care. Dr. Katter thrived on his ability to serve the
poor, working tirelessly to provide all patients with top medical care. He never lost
his working class roots nor his enthusiasm for healing others.
