Assist in daily classroom responsibilities including whole group and small group instruction, classroom management
and review of student work to inform instruction.
Plan whole group instruction across content areas.
In 4th grade placement, co-designed and taught along with my Cooperating Teacher a multi-disciplinary unit of study
of natural resources that stretched across science, social students and English Language Arts.
In 1st grade placement, led multiple activities within study of community and restaurants across social studies, reading
and writing

Program Associate, Bank Street Education Center, New York, NY Dec. 2015 - July 2016
Part of small team charged with developing school leader fellowship focused on literacy development in grades K-3.
Worked closely with Bank Street staff, faculty and external steering committee to build action-research based
fellowship for school leaders.
Completed site visits to 15 schools across the five boroughs and collected data to present to potential fellowship
funders.

build community designed playspaces and support play for students growing up in poverty across North America.
Raised and managed over 2.8 million dollars to support programs, operations and initiatives.

Collected and analyzed data from community and funding partners for KaBOOM! playground builds.

Founded and led after-school visual arts program for students K 5th grade.
Grew program from 15 to 50 volunteers and 50 to 150 students over a two-year period.
Secured funding and developed curriculum for the Living Classrooms Foundation.
Program continues to serve students in Baltimore today.
