Q1: Which basemap did you select? Why did you select this basemap? What
kinds of theme layers or data do you think will work well with this type of
basemap?

I selected the national geographic map because I like how it has an old style
to it and it list major cities from around the world. They has label out the
borders with different colors and that helps define the borders really well.
The Average median household income is working really well for this map
and helps with the borders and it even divide the counties.
Q2: What is the highest income block group? What is the lowest income block
group?

The Highest income group are the super dark blue and they make more than
82,000 a year and the lighter peach color is the lowest income block and
they make 24,000 dollars or less.

Q3: When you see the Household Income level map with the San Diego Trolley
line, do you see any spatial relationship between the two layers? Can you explain
the spatial relationship you observe (that is, what is the spatial relationship and
why do you think it exists?)?

The relations explains the train stations are built around more of the middle income / with little
sections having low income. There are some that are built around higher income and those ones
are the ones closest to the beach.

Q4: According to the map, which Trolley Line runs parallel to a fault line? By the
way, Mission Valley was created, in part, due to this fault line.

I think they built to make the trolley a bit more safer in case of an earthquake happens

Q5: What is the name of the fault line?

Rose Canyon Fault line

Q6: What are the main differences between "Maps" and "Web Apps"? Which
Map and Web Apps did you select? Discuss what you liked and what you didnt
like for each of your examples.

WEB apps are makes that already made and are meant for ready to use
maps and the other maps let you built maps and I think they help
understand the map a little bit more and you see the effort that goes into a
map.

Q7: What are the main differences between "Maps" and "Web Apps" for your
Trolley map? Which one did you prefer? Which one, in your opinion, would be
best for publication and display? Dont forget to include the screen shot of your
Web App.

Web app is cool because it adds filters to your maps that and gives it that
professional look to it and brings everything together and Its cool because
you can add the layer you want to see as well.

10. so this map is a comparison of Student spend vs Prison Spending and
how the government rather pay to keep men in a cell their rest of their lives,
then put an underfunded kid through college. What the government doesnt
see is if they dont put that kid through college he will probably end up going
to be part of the jail system in poorer communities. Kids after high school
dont go to college because they dont have the right funding, this puts them
into he workforce but eventually they going to need more money and they
are going to start to commiting more crimes to probably get money and that
is why our prisons are overcrowded.

11. This mapping system is really great because it helps record data and
helps obtain data and make it relatable to the assignment. They have many
layer you can add and data you can use for future classes. If you take a
Natural disasters course, you can trace where natural disasters will occur
and where there are fault lines. I could definitely use this system in wildlife
biology probably tracking migration patterns of deer and I can enter the data
as I wish. Overall this is a great free map creator and I know I will use it in
future course and maybe even beyond college.
