Should all Schools implement Uniforms?

School Uniforms are starting to be a trend

that is taking the world by storm. President Clinton said every school should give the students

the right to wear a uniform. The country itself is starting to accept this idea more and more as

time goes on. There is data that backs up the positives and turns down the negatives. Some of the

good things include less of a bullying issue, increased grade point averages, and a higher

graduations rate. Bullies go down, because it is harder to tell what student is different from the

others. As a result, students are more comfortable going to school, so they can pay attention

better in class. With an increase in GPA more students end up graduating. In the United

Kingdom, all the school wear uniforms. The United States likes to say it is a freedom of

expression for kids to wear clothes of their choice, but schools still do not allow certain types of

clothes and graphics on those clothes. Another argument people have against uniforms is that

they are expensive. As of right now yes, they are, that is because private schools are the main

type of school to require them, and many of their students can afford them. In the UK for

example it is rather cheap because of how much competition there is between companies. In

concussion, uniforms are a positive to schools, and should be implemented more around our

country.
