Reasons for Delay

1-Delay in Starting Survey Work

The survey works started in the mid of December 2014 after 4 months from the
stating date project (3/8/2014).

The approval of the shop drawing for the first area (Jafeer Jadeed) was on the mid of
Feb. 2015 after 5.5 months.

2- Delay in Ordering & Delivery of Over Seas Material.

The ordering of the material should be start immediately based on the Contract
drawings but Toledo delayed the starting of the order about nine months.

3-Delay in Mobilization of Organization Staf

The project manager mobilized after 3 months from the starting of the project.
Project engineer mobilized after 9 months. Toledo failed to appoint approved
quantity surveyor throughout the period of contact.

3-Finanical Difficulties

The worked stopped many times due to unavailability of cash at site to purchase
material like sand, electrode, petrol for transportation.

4-Shortage of Equipments & Manpower

Two & half years passed & till date Toledo could not able to handover even single
area to AADC although the project consists of 9 areas.
