Dear Ms. Hill,

The Teacher Education Committee (TEC) met on April 22, 2016, to review your
portfolio for admission into the Education Program at Wesleyan College.

The committee has voted to admityou to the EDU program with one contingency.

1. You must provide verifiable evidence of taking and passing the GACE
Program Admissions Assessment by the first day of classes of fall 2016.
Failure to do this will mean you will have to withdraw from all upper
level EDU courses. This is not an area in which the TEC has any room to
negotiate.

While we are confident you will represent the very best that Wesleyan has to offer
in the field of education, the committee would like to encourage you to take this test
very seriously.

The committee would also like to encourage you to work diligently to improve the
nervous habit you've developed of putting your hand in front ofyour mouth when
you speak. It inhibits your vocal projection and makes you seem meek and afraid
when a confident persona needs to be portrayed. We are confident this is
something you can do with concerted practice and focus.
