CTE Reflection

During my senior year, I completed a course entitled AP Human Geography. This class

dealt with the correlation between the physical geography of the world and the cultures within it.

In this class, I worked a lot with cartography and examining world statistics. Because this was

my first AP course, I struggled with interpreting some of the material presented. I received

satisfaction in knowing that no matter how much I struggled, I still remained patient and eager to

learn. Through this course, I learned that I was very interested in human geography and the

relationship between the world and the people within it.

I take pride in the fact that I received an A in this course. AP Human Geography as not

an easy class and I am proud of myself for completing it with such a great grade. If I could

improve on one thing, it would be being more thorough with my work and the material in the

class. I feel that I directed a lot of what I learned toward completing assignments rather than my

actual academic enrichment. I wish that I took my time with actually absorbing the topics and

information. I feel that my performance in this class qualifies me for college because it proves

that I am able to work efficiently under pressure.
