I am writing to you in regards to the child care assistant position listed on

www.edjoin.org. I have two years experience with infants and toddlers and their
developmental stages, which makes me a perfect candidate for this position.

For the last two years I have been involved in the ROP Careers with Infants and
Toddlers program. During my time as a ROP student, I have learned that the childs
needs always comes first and I have learned to read the signs if there is something
wrong with the child. I also have an understanding of developmental stages and what
signs to look for if a child cannot do something that they should be doing. I have also
learned that not every child is the same, every child is unique and learns at their own
pace. As a ROP student of two years, I have also learned that a caregiver must respect
a child as if they were adults and talk to the child as an adult.
