The document discusses SAE Baja, an off-road vehicle design competition held internationally. It describes a team from Pakistan that aims to start the first local SAE Baja competition in Pakistan hosted by NUST university. The team's goals are to develop an advanced driveline, create a lighter and more robust vehicle with improved aerodynamics and dynamics for the competition. They are seeking 1.5 million in funding to fabricate their vehicle design called "Phoenix" and participate in events.

The SAE international Baja collegiate design series, is a design
competition held across the United States as well as additional races in Brazil, South Korea, and South Africa. The races consist of approximately 100 teams that compete in dynamic and static events. Salient Objectives and features of our Project are: 1. First team in Pakistan starting SAE Baja project 2. Starting a Local Competition in Pakistan with NUST as hosting University. 3. To include the modules of SAE Baja in the Mechanical Courses. 4. Improve and refine technology that goes into the vehicle Technical Goals: 1. Develop advanced driveline 2. More robust and lighter car 3. Improved vehicle aerodynamics 4. Improve vehicle dynamics Team Facts: 1. Team originally founded in 2016 2. Designed and manufactured first vehicle named 'Phoenix', in a short span of time. The design of the project is complete and we require approximately 1.5 Million for its Fabrication and to participate in the event.
