The content of synopsis:-
Introduction/Problem definition:- A problem
statement is a brief description that outlines the problem
addressed by this Project.

Existing system:- An overview of Existing System.

Proposed system:- This should give a clear picture of the

project. The process of the whole software system proposed, to
be developed, should be mentioned in brief. This may be
supported by DFD's / Flowcharts to explain the flow of the
information.

Hardware/Software requirement:- The requirement of

the resources for designing and developing the proposed
system must be given.

Project scope:- What the project ends up to and in what

way this is going to help the end user has to be mentioned.
