Executive Summary

The SLCC Advisors are proposing a solution to what college is beneficial for the student
to attend? By using a logistic and opinionated thought process they have come up with a
solution that would be best for the student.

In our online group meetings we used logic and opinion based research to come to a
solution for this student. First we gathered information on several different colleges. We
then discussed our findings as well as things that might be important to the student.

The goal of the criteria was to find a college that worked best for the student in regards to
several factors. The factors that we took into consideration were finance, convenience,
quality, schedule, family life and relationships.

As a team we decided that the solution to our problem would be her attending either the
University of Utah or Utah Valley University. We came to this conclusion because both of
these schools are close to home, she would be able to keep working, and maintain a
relationship with her boyfriend. These schools also are affordable. Both of these schools
met our criteria equally through the data chart that we completed.
