In the essay I am going to talk about the skull with mosaic inlay.

I
will defend the museums provenience based on many factors. One
factor includes finding out the probable use of the skull, whether it be
for ceremonial purposes, household decoration or for decoration on
important/significant buildings. I will also research how it compares to
other objects /cultures/sites and periods and therefore inference on the
objects meaning and significance. Then I will have a Formal description
of object where I will talk about the meaning and significance both
culturally and monetary of the material used on the skull, aka the inlaid
turquoise, jadeite, and spondylus shell. I will then talk about the shape
of the skull and the significance of its size. Finally I will talk about the
manufacturing techniques, eg how the mosaic was inlaid into the skull.
