Nurse Recruiter
Tucson Medical Center

Dear Ms. Stewart:

I am contacting you in regards to the job posting for a new graduate nursing position in
the intensive care unit. I am a current fourth semester nursing student and will be
graduating from the University of Arizona College of Nursing in May 2017.

During my clinical rotations, I have gained experience in a variety of nursing specialties

including pediatrics, obstetrics, psychiatric, medical-surgical, and critical care. I will also
be completing a preceptorship on the medical intensive care unit at Northwest Medical
Center in April. Through these diverse rotations, I have developed strong skills in time
management, critical thinking, and inter-professional communication. Along with these
skills, I am motivated and committed to providing sensitive, evidence-based care and
believe I will be an asset to the team at Tucson Medical Center.

In addition to clinical skills, I have many years of experience in customer service and
leadership that will allow me to provide excellent patient-centered care. I previously
worked as a rock climbing guide, leading private and group trips to areas around
Southern Arizona. I was responsible for the safety of my customers as well as ensuring
that they enjoyed their experience. I am looking forward to applying these interpersonal
skills in a new setting.

Through my education, I have had wonderful experiences in several Tucson hospitals but
I am particularly drawn to TMC. I appreciate TMCs dedication to providing quality
medical care to the Tucson community in a non-profit setting and I want to help
contribute to that mission. Since moving to Tucson in 2005, I have established a strong
foundation and fallen in love with this community, which I look forward to serving
through a position at TMC.

Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,

Ashley Campbell
