Guided Practice / I will display the main elements of narrative story

I will hand out story arc worksheets that have


areas to fill in at each point in the arc. Students
will get into table groups (around 4 students per
table) and brainstorm ideas to apply to this arc.
They can use any example they want, as long as

ideas. (TV shows, comics, stories, etc.) Then, as
a group, they will attempt to apply their example
to their worksheet. I will make sure to help them if
they need it and check to see if their answers
match the arc. They will keep their worksheets
after I check them to use as a reference later in
the unit (20 min).
