LOG LINE

Human is too busy to walk dog, so gets dog a treadmill.

SYNOPSIS

Cody, a dog, is happy to see his human, Franklin, return home, eagerly anticipating
their walk together., Franklin, however, seems distracted and causes confusion for
Cody but not noticing his signs for wanting to have a walk.

It turns out, that Franklin is REALLY busy with work, so has no time to take Cody
for a walk.
Whilst Franklin works, Cody waits patiently for his human outside the work room.
By the time Franklin has completed his work for the day its too late to walk Cody.

Franklin then gets an idea and orders some thing, which should allow Cody to be with
him in the office and at the same time get some exercisea treadmill, on which Cody
process to do a parody of the treadmill dance on.

SCRIPT

SCENE: APARTMNT INT.

SOUND TRACK- MORNING WALK

The camera pans the scene, to show a canine (Cody) sleeping in his basket.
Beside the basket is a scarlett water bowl.

SOUND: Door Opening.

Cody hears a sound of a door opening, causing him wake up and eagerly look in the
direction of the door.
In his excitement, he leaps from the basket, but his front paws land in the bowl,
causing him to trip, slide and stagger off screen.
While Cody is off screen, the bowl rolls back on screen.

Cody returns, this time holding a scarlett leash, he places it down and gets up on his
hind legs, happily panting.

His human (Franklin) walks by; seeming not noticing the leash, and Cody seems upset
about this. He looks back and fourth between his leash and Franklin, before chasing
after him off camera.

We then see Cody try to follow Franklin in to another room, but as soon as Cody
reaches the door, it is slammed shut, causing him to collide into it.
Cody looks up to the sign on the door, which reads; WORK ROOM, before he
starts to scratch on the door.
 SCENE: WORK ROOM INT.

We see Franklin put a large pile of paper into a tray labelled; IN, before he sits
down in front of a computer.
The work room has charts on the wall, either showing his work statistics, or a
calendar showing that he has an important date line, explaining why hes so focus on
his work.

He takes a piece of paper from the pile, to start his work.

SCENE: APARTMNT INT.

We see Cody pacing back and fourth, outside the work room door.

SCENE: WORK ROOM INT.

Franklin continues to work. He is showing either typing at the computer, or signing

pieces of paper.

SCENE: APARTMNT INT.

Cody is playing with a ball, bouncing against the door (similar to the cooler scene in;
The Great Escape), with a bored expression on his muzzle. However, in one of the
catches, the ball accidently bounces in to Codys face causing him to react.

SCENE: WORK ROOM INT.

Franklin continues to work, in the montage.

During this montage, we get some shots of a clock, to show the passage of time.

SCENE: APARTMNT INT.

Work room door opens and Franklin emerges, rubbing his head.
He then notices Cody to the side, who has fallen asleep in his basket with the leash in
front of him on the floor.
The camera may focus on said leash.

Franklin continues to look, before he then looks down, and we see he has got his
phone out, on an Online Shopping page.

SCENE FADE TO BLACK

SCENE FADE IN FROM BLACK

SCENE: WORK ROOM INT.

 SOUND TRACK- HAPPY UP BEAT

We now see Cody seeming to be walking, but the camera pans out to show that he is
in fact walking on a treadmill.

The human watches Cody, from his desk, and smiles, before he places a piece on top
of a pile of paper, now in the Out Tray.

We then see Cody, from a human level, walking on the treadmill, but Franklin
appears on screen and the treadmill stops.

Cody looks to Franklin, somewhat puzzled, before happily jumping, wagging his tail
and panting. The camera pans down to see what it is that is making him so happy;
Franklin holding the leash.
