My name is Maria Elena Carreno Venegas an 18 years old female senior student at

Merced High School. I am also a Certified Nursing Assistant. This is my second year

attending this class Careers with Infants and Toddlers as a ROP student. There are

seven members in my family. Both my parents ( Victoria Venegas & Basilio Carreno )

and I were born in Mexico. I have four siblings : Rosalinda ( sister ) , Laura (sister ) ,

Daniel ( brother ) , and Esmeralda ( sister ) . Ive worked as a ROP student / caregiver

at the CDC at Yosemite High School. Ive also worked as a merced college nursing

student at the Merced Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Merced. When Im bored I

usually go to the gym or watch movies for fun. I would like to have a career taking care

of infants and toddlers in the future because I like to help children learn with all different

development and skills : gross motor skills , fine motor skills , cognitive development ,
sensory development , and social & emotional skills. I hope to contribute help and

knowledge.
