    This document describes a project to measure distance in centimeters using a microcontroller. The project uses an Arduino Uno board, ultrasonic sensor, LCD display, jumpers, and other components to sense the distance to an obstacle and display it on the LCD screen. The ultrasonic sensor measures the distance and sends the output to the Arduino, which uses coding to process the data and display it on the LCD in a readable format. A variable resistance is also used to control the brightness of the LCD display. The project was created by three students under the supervision of Dr. Ayman Mohamed.

    IDEA
    We used an Ultrasonic sensor which is capable to sensing particles and
    measure the distance to reach it.

    Then we used the Data we get from the Ultrasonic (The output of the
    Ultrasonic) and controlled it by Arduino Uno to by Coding on Arduino C to
    display this Data on the LCD in a good layout.

    We controlled the Brightness of the LCD with a Variable Resistance.
