In a 2011-2012 survey, hematologists with 6 years of experience were reported to
have a median salary of $314,800 (work.chron.com, 2017)

6.) Self-Reflection
I would not want to be a hematologist because I would not feel comfortable with handling so much
blood. I am typically not very uncomfortable around blood, but I would not like to work with blood all
day long. This relates to Anna Garcia because a hematologist has probably tested Anna Garcias
blood for blood-related diseases. With her diabetic history, her blood has probably been tested
thoroughly for and blood-related diseases.
