Partial list of projects:
Migrate AMS network from RIP to EIGRP. (CISCO 7000s and RSMs)
This included the migration of 20 global routers supporting a private bank environment.
Created project plan, chaired meetings and implemented actual cutover, insuring the
redistribution of RIP into EIGRP when necessary.
Plan and install OC-3 Network for Business continuity. (ATMs using PVCs on
CISCO Platform)
This was the creation of two layer 2 links across the MAN for disaster recovery.
Created project plan, chaired meeting and designed new network. This included the
creation of separated VTP domains, creation of new VLANS, configuration of spanning
tree to support outages. This project was so successful that production traffic was
migrated over to these links (using EIGRP metrics) and the existing 10 Meg links where
later de-installed.

Responsible for the planning and implementation of various vendor segments into
the enterprise. Including:
Dual homed BGP router configuration and installation to ISP(s)
Various links (2600s, t1s) to market data providers, including the creation of ACLs
and rule sets for PIXs in the DMZ.
New office (PA) install to support merger, included the procurement of 6000
switches, configuration of VLANS, T3, pipes back to dual enterprise hubs for
redundancy, BGP redistribution, ETC. Over 1000, users in this install.
Make enterprise proposal for Wireless LAN and implement JP Morgans first
wireless network.
This included project plans with cost analysis per client. Survey of floors for best
location and number of Aironets needed. Procurement of Aironets and work with
building service for exact mounting and cabling. Configuration of each Aironet, with
new IP schema for Wireless network and WEP. Creation of wireless DMZ with router
performing DHCP services and ACLs for security. Creation of Wireless client external
like to Enterprise ISP.

Many other major projects, was personally responsible for at least 10 projects at one
time.

In addition preformed the following day-to-day support services.


Third level support for enterprise network 24/7 (for clients and server teams)
Maintain IOSs to routers and switches, provide upward path for enchantments.
(ISL, Multicast, GIGIBIT, security ETC). Changes to universal firewall plant
including change of conduits, ports and add of new market data services.
