Frizz Ease

ORIGINAL PRODUCT NEW PRODUCT
Volume/Air Space
First, we calculated the volume of the total air space using r2(h).
Second, we looked for the air space being used by the liquid, using the same equation
with the correct dimensions and adding that to ((4/3)r3 )/2.
Using these two found numbers (163.36 total - 107.4633 unused) we calculated the
percentage of air space as 72% and unused being 28%.
Doing similar calculation with our new product, we found that it would reduce this
number to being 11.5% of the air space being unused.

Surface Area/Plastic
When finding the surface area of the
prototype we had to subtract the missing
Original cylinder
We found the surface area of the whole
First when we calculated the surface area clear, outer plastic
of all the plastic together 2 2x13 + 2 2^2 = 188.4955 = outer
We had to accommodate for the cylinder Then we split the inner purple cylinder into
two parts: a hemisphere and a cylinder

the two cylinders. 90.3207 + 9.8174 = 100.1381 = inside

Next we subtracted the inside cylinder from
the total to find the amount of unused
