Ore Deposits Geochemistry - M.Sc. & Ph.D.

We anticipate new opportunities for M.Sc. and Ph.D. studies in the Dept. of Earth
Sciences, with enrollment for the 2015-2016 academic year.

Successful applicants will join our existing team of students and collaborating faculty
engaged in integrated mineralogical, fluid inclusion, trace element and stable isotope
studies of hydrothermal ore deposits. Prospective students with a good background in
mineralogy, geochemistry and structural geology are particularly encouraged to apply.
For students interested in the Ph.D. program, previous experience with instrumental
analysis, especially fluid inclusion microthermometry and/or Raman or infrared
spectroscopy would be an asset. For some planned programs, candidates should ideally
be available for field work as soon as June 2016.
