OVERVIEW
Students will learn the difference between ADD and ADHD, the ways it can be treated with
medication and the symptoms and side effects to the medications.
I chose this topic because I am highly interested in Special Education and wanted to learn
more about one of the most common disabilities in the U.S.

Objective/goal To teach and inform what ADD

and ADHD is. Students will be
able to identify what this disorder
is and how it can be treated. They
will know which medications are
used and how ADHD can be
detected within children.
