Dear Fox Sports Detroit,

Fox Sports Detroit is the optimum sports broadcasting channel in the state of Michigan. I have
had the opportunity to learn how to use media communication and communication in a way that
would be beneficial for this company. I am very interested in being considered for the
broadcasting postion. I am currently a junior at the University of Michigan - Flint majoring in
communications with a concentration of media studies and a minor in Spanish.
After I graduate from college I plan to become a sports broadcaster. Since I was a child, I knew
that I wanted to become a broadcaster. I have always been interested with the news, and how the
broadcaster informed the public. During my high school career, I became more interested with
sports broadcasting, although I do not play any sports. I love to watch them because of
camaraderie of the teammates and the intense plays. I am a huge fan of the Detroit Tigers.

My academic background, along with my ambition of becoming a broadcaster and love of the
Detroit Tigers, has enhanced my skills through media related communication. I enjoy the
challenge of complex demanding assignments. My well-developed writing and communication
skills are assets to this organization.

organization as a broadcaster. My verbal communication skills would be best demonstrated in an
