Classification
Based on the number 27 PP 1980 regarding the distribution of excavated
materials are divided into three groups:
a. Group strategic minerals are:
o Petroleum, liquid bitumen, wax, natural gas;
o Solid bitumen, asphalt;
o Anthracite, coal, lignite;
o Uranium, radium, thorium and radioactive mineral deposits other;
o Nickel, cobalt;
o Tin.
b. Group of minerals that are vital:
- Iron, manganese, molybdenum, chromium, tungsten, vanadium, titan;
- Bauxite, copper, lead, zinc;
- Gold, platinum, silver, mercury, diamonds;
- Arsin, antimony, bismuth;
- Yttrium, rhutenium, cerium and other rare metals;
- Beryllium, corundum, zircon, quartz crystal;
- Cryolite, fluorpar, barite;
- Iodine, bromine, chlorine, sulfur;
c. Group of minerals that does not include class A or B is:
- Nitrates, phosphate-phosphate, rock salt (halite);
- Asbestos, talc, mica, graphite, magnesite;
- Yarosit, leucite, alum (alum), ocher;
- Gemstones, half gem stones;
- Quartz, kaolin, feldspar, gypsum, bentonite;
- Pumice, tras, obsidian, perlite, diatomaceous earth, soil absorption
(Fullers earth);
- Marble, slate;
- Limestone, dolomite, calcite;
- Granite, andesite, basalt, trakhit, clay, and sand does not contain all the
mineral elements amupun class b class a significant amount in terms of
the mining economy.

Meaning classifying mineral deposits, namely:
a. Strategic means of strategic minerals for Defence and Security
and the Economy of the State;
b. Vital minerals means minerals that can guarantee the lives of
many people;
c. Minerals are not included minerals Strategic and Vital mean
because it does not directly require a market that is international.

2. CRUSHING

Grinding is the stage of size reduction in the size limit of the desired
smooth. Some tools used:
o Ball Mill
o Rod Mill
o Hammer Mill
o Impactor
