Dear Parents,

We are delighted to share in your childs educational journey. Your child will be transitioning into Elementary
School and this is a milestone worth celebrating. Collegiate American School celebrates your childs academic
accomplishment with a Kindergarten Completion Ceremony. Each year we celebrate KG2 students who are
moving from Early Childhood to Elementary School.

We call these celebrations completion ceremonies to signify the completion of one grade and the transition
into a new grade. During the completion ceremonies, students receive certificates and will share their musical
talents by singing a few songs together. Children should wear formal dress clothes to the ceremony (dresses,
dress pants, button down shirts no uniforms required). You are one of the most important parts of this
celebration!

Below are the dates and times for the completion ceremonies that correspond to your students class. All
ceremonies will take place in the upstairs gym.

Thursday, May 25th All KG Classes 9:30 am

Refreshments will be served in your childs classroom after the ceremony. Teachers will organize refreshments
with parents accordingly. Should you have any questions, please inquire with your childs teacher. We hope to
see you there for this memorable occasion.

Sincerely,

Rhonda Hearns
Early Childhood Coordinator
