Magical Houses
Magical Houses
In the video of TED, Elora Hardy showed a house of six floors bespoke home on
the island of Bali. It's built almost entirely from bamboo.
She mentioned that there are 1450 species of bamboo that grow across the
world,It's actually a wild grass and It's one sustainable material that they will
not run out of.
When Elora Hardy first saw these structures under construction about six years
ago, she just thought, this makes perfect sense. So along with some of the
original builders of Green School, she founded Ibuku.
She explained that thanks to borax, which is a natural salt, turns bamboo into a
viable building material.Since unprotected bamboo weathers and gets eaten to
dust.
Because the bamboo has the tensile strength of steel, the compressive
strength of concrete and it's earthquake-resistant. Besides being a very light
material
For bamboo house they make 3d designs, They make scale structural models
out of the same material that they'll later use to build the house.
I think the most complicated is that there are no two bamboos alike, none is
totally straight and there are no dimensions for this material.
Qu significa ibuku?
Ibu significa "madre", y ku significa "mo", por lo que representa a mi Madre
Tierra, y en Ibuku, Ibuku es un equipo de artesanos, arquitectos y diseadores.
