John wayne (Marion Robert Morrison) was born may 26th 1907 his mother Mary Brown

Morrison struggled to keep the family afloat in light of the hard times. John Waynes father

Clyde Morrisson was around while john was growing up working to make it by. John wayne

was a very important person in the 50s because he was seen as one of the best actors of the time

appearing in many westerns that were big hits during that time period.John Wayne has done

many things in his life to make him famous but his acting is what really made him an icon. The

things that John Wayne become a star are his start to acting, becoming famous, and leaving a

legacy.

The start to John Wayne's career was interesting he had a small start in 1928 he had

many small jobs for a couple of months. He was then employed at the fox studios mostly as a

laborer but also as an extra and bit player. His efforts in the main went unbilled but he did attend

his first screen at Duke Morrison(Sickels, Robert C.). This screening was the start of something

special this taste of the movie life is what got john wayne going he went on to do more movies

like The Big Trail and Stagecoach. These movies started to blow up people loved the western

movie and john wayne played the roll perfect.

John Waynes rode to become famous started in 1930 when he started to play in bigger

movies. From 1930 to 1939 Wayne appeared as the hero in some eight films the majority of the

films were western. (Sickels, Robert C.) John wayne worked a lot to become the star he has

today he was honing his craft perfecting his famous walk his economy of speech and movement

and learning in his own word . John always was working on his craft to make him a better actor

you dont become an icon like him from being average. John Wayne became famous because he

has spent hours and hours working on himself and making sure that he was the best part for the

role.

John Wayne left a legacy on the world by doing everything to his best ability and making

a lasting impression on all of his roles. For example To millions of people around the world

john wayne has come to be more than just a single most recognizable screen actor in the history

of film (John Wayne) This shows how John wayne was leaving his legacy on the acting

community. John Wayne was a star Wayne was hollywoods biggest star making the top ten in

distributors lists of stars with commercial appeal in all but one year (gale virtual reference

library) John Wayne was slowly starting to leave a legacy on the world by the start of his acting.

John is known very well across the country and is one of the biggest faces for western movies

there will ever be.

John Wayne has become the actor he was through the start of his career, becoming

famous ,and leaving legacy. John Wayne was seen as the big shot or the star in most of his

films he made a name for himself that will forever be remembered, Every time somebody thinks

of old westerns they most commonly think of John Wayne. John Wayne will forever be known as

a famous western actor.
