Preflop
Raiser
Raise always 2.5-5x the BB
o HOWEVER if the table is super-loose, and raising 5x BB
doesnt achieve folds, then just limp in
In Loose games:
o You can afford to play suited connectors a lot more, like
A7s
Behind Raiser
Figure out your the bottom of your opponents range, and
make sure your hand is at least above it
o OOP, be much more stringent with criteria
Blinds
If just blind v blind
o Small blind = Try to limp in unless you have an amazing
hand (then raise)
o Big blind = Try raising with good hand, check for cheap
flop
If raiser in the field
o Small blind = See behind raiser
o Big blind = Flat call
Post flop
Big hand | Heads up | + Lead | IP | NT
BET
o Note: In general, if you see your opponent take initiative
pre-flop and then just check post flop = weird =
probably slow playing
Weak lead
CALL
o This is because such a move shows weakness, and you
give him confidence that his hand is strong
Most of the times, a strong hand would check raise
o Hence by leading out with a bet, this usually indicates a
weak hand
