There are three main reasons why University of Hawaii is not an
appropriate choice for me :

1. The Cost

2. Location

3. Sports/Majors
The cost
What is the cost?

For an out of state student ( which I am ) and to live on campus it would

cost $50,645 , just for my freshman year. To continue attending UH it
would cost approximately $50,00 each year.
Location
Location is very important because

I would like to be able to go home whenever I want too

But attending this school would make traveling home really difficult

It would cost me even more money to travel home

Although Hawaii is a beautiful state , traveling would be hard in

general because the island is so small. I would get island fever.

Sports and Majors
The sports and majors offered do not give me the best opportunity for
success

Sports
If I choose to continue water polo in college, UH does offer a women's water polo
team , but not the best program to help me succeed even after college.

Majors
One of my possible major options would be sports medicine. UHM also does not offer
the best medicine program .
Conclusion
The three reasons why University of Hawaii at Manoa would not be the best
choice for me because of the cost, location , and the activities offered
at the school.
