    Dear Mr. Smith.

    I am writing to complain about the rule banning loud music in


    our flats.

    I love music. I have over fifty records and all mmy friends
    comein to listen to them. If we didnt listen to records in the
    evening, we would be playing outside and causing trouble.

    My sister is learning the guitar at scool. She hopes to be a


    profesional. Our flat is the only place where she can practise.

    I know that the walls are thin and people might get disturbed.
    I suggest that extra thick felting be fitted round the walls and
    floors to prevent the noise spreading.
