Chelsea Hinz is the new junior here at Madison High school. She moved here from Brookings. So I guess Madison isn’t so much
different except in size. When asked how she likes Madison and MHS so far, her response was: “I love it.” Sounds like a pretty good
start Madison!
For those of you who don’t know Chelsea, she is into many different activities. Her hobbies are watching TV, hanging out
with her friends and boy friend, and listening to music. She loves football and volleyball, so if you ever see her at a game, make sure
to say hi! Here is something that will make all science teachers happy – her favorite subject is science. The only thing that she
misses in Brookings is her friends. Like I am sure many of you would too if you moved away. So let us do our best to make Chelsea
feel welcome here at MHS.

Dallas Shipley is the new junior roaming the halls of Madison High School. Dallas moved here all the way
from Idaho. He says that he is used to the cold but not the wind chill. When it comes down to it though,
Dallas moved here to the small town of Madison because he has family here.
His favorite hobby is snowboarding. No wonder he is used to the cold. But when it is nice outside, he
loves to play soccer. Join the club Dallas! In school his favorite subject is History. Did you hear that
Ozzy?! He also likes Madison High School so far, so let’s keep up the good impression. The only thing he
misses about Idaho is his friends; can’t really blame him for that, though. So high-schoolers, let’s make
Dallas feel welcome.
