INSTRUCTIONS FOR USING RESCUE BOAT

DAVIT
AUTO MODE USING REMOTE CONTROL:
1) Before using the Davit ensure that the BREAKER on
EMERGENCY SWITCH BOARD inside emergency Gen room
for the Rescue boat davit is turned on.
2) Open the junction box near Davit, switch on the BREAKER
No #1 (Hydraulic motor), No #2 (Hoisting Motor) & No#3
(Remote control).
3) Close the junction box and PUSH the START button.
4) Ensure the Valve No# 1 is on AUTO Position.
5) Adjust the Valve No #2 on the marked position to SWING
the davit to PORT/STBD.
6) Use the DAVIT REMOTE to SWING the davit and HOIST or
LOWER the Wire.
7) After finishing the Operation Secure the Davit HOOK, Push
STOP button & Switch of the Breaker NO# 1, 2 & 3 &
Breaker on Emergency Switch board.

MANUAL MODE USING:

1)Ensure the Valve No# 1 is set on Manual position
2) Adjust the Valve No#2 on the MARKED POSITION to
SWING the davit to PORT/STBD.
3) Once the valve No #2 is set to DESIRED POSITION,
use the HANDLE with the HYDRAULIC PUMP to
SWING the Davit.
4) The Hook can be lowered by RELEASING the BRAKE
when Davit ON LOAD.
5) Use the HANDLE Located behind the brake to
LOWER/HOIST the hook manually.
